Musician, he plays electric bass and guitar.
"My first experience was on Patimar an aluminium boat 10.50 mt long, built by a dear friend. I still remember the excitement of the first night navigation, the first time I saw Ponza approaching at dawn. Since then, when I thought of myself, I could only see myself on the sea. It was very strange but natural, changing my way of seeing things: the still things began to annoy me and so I went enthusiastically, pushed by the waves, towards the most beautiful adventure of my life. I had Red Witch restored first, a "Serenity" from the shipyard C.B.S., sloop of 11 metres, with which I sailed far and wide in Tyrrhenian Sea –with base at Fiumara Rome. The destinations of those years were the islands of Elba, Giannutri, Corsica, Sardinia, Ponza, Palmarola, Ventotene, Ischia, Capri, Procida, the Aeolian Islands, the Egadi islands. Then I moved to Greece: a wonderful sailing journey through the Strait of Messina, with a stop at Scilla (splendid ), the Gulf of Taranto, Santa Maria di Leuca, Otranto ... From Greece after few years, I sailed towards north to Ortona, where I had base and spent the next eight years to navigate along the coasts of Croatia. From the lunar Kornati islands to Dubrovnik through hundreds of islands such as the well known Hvar, Korcula (the native island of Marco Polo), the National Park of Mljiet. After that, Red Witch moved with a dear friend, Roberto, to Cesenatico and now is preparing to leave for a journey around the world. In the meanwhile, I finished to overhaul the beautiful "Madoudou" with which I continued to sail through Croatia and Montenegro and from 2005 again in Greece. Here a new Cyclades 50.5 named Big Mama is just arrived. She is very comfortable and has very good sailing performances. The base is in the isle of Lefkada from where, in the next future, I’m planning to move to the Aegean Sea, Turkey and Malta. I’m waiting to see you on board."
